Scotland's Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) course is a 12-hour accredited programme that equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to offer initial support to someone experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.

This course helps participants recognise signs of distress, listen without judgment, and provide reassurance and guidance until professional help is available. It also aims to reduce stigma, increase understanding, and promote recovery-focused approaches to mental health.

Scotland's Mental Health First Aid

My Community Wellbeing Courses blend professional mental health education with accessible yoga, breathwork and mindfulness. As a qualified lecturer, Scottish Mental Health First Aid instructor, yoga teacher and aromatherapist, I bring a rare combination of evidence-based knowledge and restorative mind–body practices that help people feel calmer, more connected and more confident in everyday life.

These courses are designed for adults in community settings who want to improve their wellbeing, build resilience and feel more supported. They offer a clear, structured approach that helps people notice stress earlier, understand their needs more clearly and develop coping strategies they can use day to day.

Community Wellbeing Courses

Yoga at Elevate Wellbeing is calm, grounding, accessible and designed to support emotional balance. My sessions combine gentle movement, breathwork and mindful awareness to help regulate the nervous system, release tension, and restore clarity in both mind and body.

All classes are welcoming, beginner-friendly and adaptable for different levels and health needs. Whether delivered in the community or at a wellbeing event, the focus is always on relaxation, connection and supporting overall wellbeing.

I also offer optional aromatherapy during relaxation or meditation, using safe, carefully selected essential oil blends. This is included only where appropriate, and participants may opt out at any time.
